Finishes

Black

The wood has a black coating that has been layered with white to accentuate the inherent patterns in the grain. The white will cling to the crevices of the wood, such as the knots, natural irregularities, and grain lines.

Dark Brown

A coating of brown has been applied to the wood, which has then been overlaid with white to draw attention to the organic patterns in the grain. The white layer will stick to the recessed areas of the wood, such as the knots, grain lines, and natural inconsistencies in the lumber

Light Brown

The brown colour of the finish has been created using multiple layers of shellac coating.

Walnut

Showing a bit of redness toward the brown, the colour of the finish has been created using multiple layers of shellac coating.

Light Grey

The grey colour of the finish has a natural appearance that has been achieved through the application of multiple layers of stain.

White

The item has been coated with multiple layers of white shellac, with minimal visibility of its wood grain.
